建学の精神 東京女子医科大学は、1900年（明治33年）に創立された東京女醫學校を母体として設立された。東京女子医科大学の創立者である吉岡彌生は、1952年（昭和27年）新制大学設立に際し、東京女醫學校創立の主意をもって建学の精神とした。

沿革 東京女子医科大学泌尿器科の歴史は、1962年9月に初代教授 梅津隆子のもと、それまであった皮膚・泌尿器科より分離独立したことから始まります。その後2代目教授 吉田美喜子、1987年より3代目教授 東間紘を経て、2006年より田邉一成が主任教授に就任し現在に至っています。
