Feb 2020. Rainbow Falls is a short drive outside of Hilo and it's worth it. There is a small park right before the falls. It is accessible for most folks at the viewing area. To climb to the top of the falls is not an easy climb and should not be attempted by those with physical disabilities or the elderly.
