The Chen dynasty ( simplified Chinese: 陈朝; traditional Chinese: 陳朝; pinyin: Chén Cháo ), alternatively known as the Southern Chen (南陳 / 南朝陳) in historiography, was a Chinese imperial dynasty and the fourth and last of the Southern dynasties during the Northern and Southern dynasties period.
