2024 總統大選，時任副總統的賴清德當選總統，任命前行政院秘書長、前民進黨黨主席卓榮泰擔任行政院長，與內閣各部會新任首長於520就職。而今年4月電價因台電虧損全面調漲，目前電價上漲依《電業法》規定由電價審議委員會決定，但本屆新上任的在野黨立法委員提出修法，要求電價調整還需經過立法院同意，未來朝小野大的局面，也對新政府形成挑戰。
