2023年1月30日更新. 今や肺癌は胃癌を抜いて男性の死因の第一位となり、喘息や慢性閉塞性肺疾患も年々増加の一途をたどっています。 その他、肺には感染症、悪性腫瘍、アレルギー、免疫異常など実に様々な病気がありますが、東京女子医科大学病院 呼吸器内科では、各々の疾患の専門医が呼吸器外科や放射線科、麻酔科などと緊密に連携し高度で有機的な診療を行っています。 また、禁煙教育、喘息教室などによる予防医学・管理医学の充実や、在宅医療のネットワーク作りにも力を注いでいます。
